After successful cultivation, you can easily plant your small tree in a new container, or directly into the ground, without repotting, using the compostable pot. The pot will then decompose naturally in approximately 12-24 months, leaving no residue in the soil. Your plant can then develop its roots undisturbed and establish itself firmly in the ground.
The tree planting kit consists of valuable forest seeds, a compostable planting pot produced on site, Terra Preta soil and a hemp fiber mat.

The hornbeam, which can live up to 150 years and grow to 25 meters tall, actually belongs botanically to the birch family. It has been used for hedges for centuries because of its vigorous growth . However, it can also stand alone and form small groves, or groups of trees – hence its name.
Celtic mythology also portrays the hornbeam as a symbol of exceptional stubbornness, due to the legendary hardness of its wood . Furthermore, the hornbeam is considered a symbol of courage, steadfastness, and justice. In 2007, the hornbeam was the Tree of the Year in Austria.
Please note: Plants are unique and may develop differently in appearance, color, shape, and size compared to our descriptions and images. External factors such as soil type, climate, humidity, air supply, and temperature can significantly affect plant development.
Some tree varieties are genetically predisposed to germination taking up to five months - in these cases it is particularly important to keep the soil consistently moist and to be patient.
