The 80/220 whetstone from Adler Tools was specially developed to bring worn axes and hatchets back to life.

Each stone is made in Germany and consists of ceramic with a uniform grain size, which means the stone grinds faster and no oil is needed for sharpening.

Application: Use the coarse side when the blade is nicked or dull. Use the fine side to achieve a sharp edge. Working in a circular motion with your wrist/forearm, work your way along the curve of the blade from top to bottom. Sharpen both sides evenly, maintaining the blade's curvature. Add water to the stone for better results.
