Interesting facts about lilac
- beautiful flowering shrub
- as a sun worshipper, he can also tolerate dry heat
- very windproof
As a true sun-lover, lilacs tolerate even intense heat . In fact, they only develop their beautiful blossoms with plenty of sunshine. If they are planted in too much shade, the flowering will be sparse and their full beauty will not be revealed.
It is no wonder that this fragrant ornamental plant was first cultivated in the courts of kings and sultans many hundreds of years ago. According to legend, lilacs arrived in Europe as a gift from the Ottomans to the Holy Roman Emperor.
Lilacs absolutely need nutrient-rich soil and plenty of sun . When pruning, be careful and only remove withered blossoms and dead branches to ensure successful growth the following year.
Please note: Plants are unique and may develop differently in appearance, color, shape, and size compared to our descriptions and images. External factors such as soil type, climate, humidity, air supply, and temperature can significantly affect plant development.
Some tree varieties are genetically predisposed to germination taking up to five months - in these cases it is particularly important to keep the soil consistently moist and to be patient.
